| You can make metallic charms with Silhouette Punches, Paper, and Xtreme embossing powder.
I use Dauber Duos to adhere the embossing powder. This idea was provided by All Night Media.
1. Punch a piece of cardstock, leaving several inches (in order to hold the card while heating without burning your hand.)
2. Dab pigment or embossing ink onto both sides of punch design . Be sure to put enough ink so that the paper is very wet with ink.
3. Sprinkle Xtreme embossing powder onto both sides while the ink is still wet. Hold the card in the air and don't put down while heating.(You're embossing both sides) If the ink color shows through or if it is not smooth you can add another layer of powder while still hot then heat again. Let cool without laying card down.
4. If you get a smudge on it just reheat to smooth out again.
5. Using scissors or a craft knife cut the design out to create a charm. Double Frame punches have a built in hole to dange the charm from. If the design does not have a built in hole cut around the design leaving a 1/4" of border to create a seal/charm.
If you want to glue a charm onto a card just emboss one side.
